Delete Your Account & Data

This action is permanent and cannot be undone.

If you wish to delete your account and all associated data (game progress, cloud save, purchase history, and any personal information), send us an email with the subject line "Delete Account". Please include your registered email address or Firebase User ID in the message body so we can locate your account.

Send your request to wordhunt@doubleyou.agency with subject "Delete Account". Your data will be permanently deleted within 72 hours of receiving your request.

Frequently Asked Questions

How do I save my progress across devices?

Sign in with your Apple ID or Google account in the App's settings. Once signed in, your progress is automatically synced across all your devices. If you play on a new device, simply sign in with the same account and your progress will be restored.

I lost my game progress. Can it be recovered?

If you were signed in with Apple or Google, your progress is stored in the cloud and can be recovered by signing in again on any device. If you were playing without an account (anonymously), progress is stored only on your device and cannot be recovered if the app is uninstalled or data is cleared. We strongly recommend signing in to enable cloud save.

How do I remove ads?

You can purchase the "Remove Ads" option from the in-game diamond shop. This is a one-time purchase that permanently removes all banner, interstitial, and rewarded advertisements. If you reinstall the app, you can restore this purchase through the App Store or Google Play.

Can I play offline?

Yes! Word Hunt is designed to work completely offline. All 1,000 levels with 10,000 puzzle variants are stored on your device. You don't need an internet connection to play. Internet is only required for cloud save synchronization, sign-in, in-app purchases, and displaying advertisements.

How do I earn free diamonds?

You can earn free diamonds in several ways: claim daily free diamonds by opening the app each day, watch rewarded video ads for diamond bonuses, and discover bonus words in puzzles (hidden words not required to complete the level but worth extra diamonds).

How do hints work?

Hints cost 100 diamonds each. When activated, a hint reveals the first letter and its position for one undiscovered word in the current puzzle. Use hints strategically when you're stuck on a particularly challenging level.

What languages are supported?

Word Hunt supports 7 languages: English, Turkish, French, Spanish, German, Portuguese, and Italian. Each language has its own complete set of 1,000 levels with unique word puzzles. You can change your language at any time in the settings. Your progress is saved separately for each language.

How does the star rating system work?

Each level awards 1 to 3 stars based on how quickly you complete it. Faster completion times earn more stars. Star thresholds vary by difficulty level. You can replay any completed level to try for a better star rating.

What are collectible illustrations?

Each of the 20 countries features 3 unique collectible illustrations — a Postcard (unlocked at the start of each chapter), a Souvenir (unlocked at level 20 within the chapter), and a Treasure (unlocked at level 40). These beautiful artworks depict landmarks and culture from each country.

I made a purchase but didn't receive my diamonds.

First, try restarting the App. If the issue persists, check your purchase history in the App Store or Google Play to confirm the transaction was completed. If the purchase was successful but diamonds weren't credited, please contact us at wordhunt@doubleyou.agency with your purchase receipt and we'll resolve it promptly.

How do I request a refund?

Refunds for in-app purchases are processed by Apple App Store or Google Play Store. Please contact Apple or Google directly through their respective support channels to request a refund. We do not have the ability to process refunds directly.

How do I delete my account and data?

To delete your local data, uninstall the App or clear the App's data in your device settings. To request deletion of your cloud-stored data (if you signed in with Apple or Google), please contact us at wordhunt@doubleyou.agency. We will process your request within 72 hours.

How do I disable notifications?

You can disable notifications within the App's settings menu, or through your device's system notification settings. The App respects quiet hours and will not send notifications between 10:00 PM and 9:00 AM local time.

Troubleshooting

The App crashes or freezes

Try the following: 1) Close and reopen the App. 2) Restart your device. 3) Make sure you have the latest version installed from the App Store or Google Play. 4) If the issue persists, try clearing the App's cache (not data) in your device settings. Contact us if none of these resolve the issue.

Ads are not loading

Ads require an internet connection to load. Check your network connection and try again. If you're using a VPN or ad blocker, this may prevent ads from loading. Note that ad availability varies by region and time.

Cloud sync isn't working

Ensure you're signed in (check the settings screen) and have an active internet connection. Cloud sync happens automatically when the app opens and when it goes to the background. If issues persist, try signing out and signing back in.
